Can I receive training at a Regal branch?

Does Regal provide credit on returned items?

Yes, depending on the item it may need to be tested before a credit can be passed.

What must I provide to Regal to qualify for a credit?

The item(s) in its original condition and packaging (unless faulty out of box) and your Invoice as proof of purchase.

How do I avoid Regal's 10% handling fee for returned goods?

Return item(s) within 7 days of purchase

What happens if I return a faulty product after 7 days from purchase date?

We will use your Invoice to validate the items warranty and send it in for repair.

When will Regal not provide credit on returned items?

When they are special order items.

Will Regal beat any price in the Industry?

Yes, show us proof of the price to beat in the form of a quote or proforma invoice and we will do so!

Can Regal refer me to a good installer?

We do not refer our customers to specific installers. See the blue pin board in the sales area of each branch for Installer business cards.


When can I expect feedback on a COD credit application?

Within 24-48 hours of receipt of required documentation by Regal.

When can I expect feedback on a credit application with terms?

Within 3-5 working days of receipt of required documentation by Regal.

When will I receive feedback on my job application?

Our recruitment process aims to respond to all applicants. If, however you have not received feedback 14 days following your application, it should be regarded as unsuccessful.

Is Regal BBBEE certified?

Yes, you can download a copy of our certificate


Does Regal's online training include a manual?

Yes, you will receive a link to download a digital training manual which includes utilities, documents & software. (Valid for 30 days, but you can order a printed copy of the manual)

Will I receive a certificate for attending Regal's online training?

On achievement of 70% or more for the online exam, you will receive a certificate of attendance.


Why does Regal charge a handling fee for out of warranty units booked in for repair?

The R 100 excl. VAT charged covers costs related to the handling of units on rejected repairs quotes. Costs include transport, technician time, admin etc. If the repair quote is accepted, this R 100 excl. is deducted from the cost of repair.

Will Regal repair units not purchased from Regal?

Yes, provided we carry the model and brand of the unit to be repaired. Our out of warranty procedure will be follow,

Can Regal reset passwords on Hikvision units?

Yes, with a labour charge allocated to your account.

When can I expect feedback on a repair being carried out by Regal?

For local repairs, within 3-5 working days from the date on which you book the unit in. If the repair is being done by a supplier, the ETAs will differ, depending on the supplier involved.

Does Regal repair Dahua units?

No, but we can faciliate the repair booking with Dahua.

How does Regal know if a unit is under warranty?

By tracking of the serial number. In cases where there is a discrepancy, you will be asked for proof of purchase.

If a unit is faulty, can it be swapped out for another?

Yes, if the unit is returned within 7 days of purchase a straight swop can be done under the standard "Dead on Arrival" terms and conditions.
